Microsoft Business Intelligence Consultant

CXO Business Intelligence Corp. (CXOBIC) is actively searching for Business Intelligence Professionals to work on client projects throughout the GTA.
As a Microsoft Business Intelligence Consultant you will be responsible for providing business and/or technical consulting services to our current and future clients.
The regular responsibilities for this position include, but will not be limited to the following:
- Microsoft Business Intelligence software installation, configuration, migration and tuning.
- Analysis, design and implementation of Microsoft Business Intelligence projects in new or production environments.
- Provide support to Microsoft Business Intelligence Solution end-users.
The ideal candidate should possess a university or college degree in a related discipline (Computer Science, Systems Engineering, IT or Business) or have equivalent work experience.
Business Skills
- Ability to understand and translate business process and requirements into business intelligence solutions, specifications, and documentation.
- Strong written and communication skills in English.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to work with massive amounts of data.
Nice to have: Basic project management and presentation skills.
Required Technical Skills. Minimum 2 years of experience:
- Developing Business Intelligence projects with Microsoft products.
- Working knowledge of data warehouses, data marts and OLAP reporting, dimensional modeling.
- In moderate to complex projects using the Microsoft Business Intelligence software.
- Windows NT, 2000, 2003 and XP operating systems.
- IIS.
- PL/SQL.
- ETL Processes.
- Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle. Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access.
Must have experience in at least three (3) of the following:
Microsoft SQL Server 2000, Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services 2005, ProClarity, Excel Pivot Tables. Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Reporting Services. Data Transformation Services (DTS), SharePoint Portal Server. Development of ASP.NET application to build Dashboards
Nice to Have: Business Scorecard Manager.
